Blacksmithing for Groups & Parties

I came here for the dagger making for two experience for my birthday and had a fantastic time. Gordon looked after us for the day and he was hilarious, made sure we were safe, and fixed our dagger any time we messed up (which was fairly often). We were complete novices and we couldn't have had more fun! The whole team were friendly and brilliant - we're extremely happy with our very wonky dagger 

Really interesting and fun. Helpful and friendly tutors who explained everything really well. My husband made a towel rail that will be put to good use as well as my cloak brooch which I absolutely love. Thank you so much!

The experience at Oldfield Forge was fantastic! The first thing I did was designed the axe I would be forging, the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helped me choose an axe design and gave me complete creative license. Aaron one of the blacksmiths was always available for advice and the technical aspects. It was an incredible day, and one I will be doing again, I want a new kitchen knife! I believe everyone will love the experience of creating their own axe.

The team at Oldfield Forge helped us every step of the way in forging the most EPIC battle seax the day was amazing, we learned a lot and the team cannot be faulted! Enjoyed the beers and thanks for the bottle opener we will definitely be back so see you soon!
