Blacksmith Experience Days

We spent a day at the forge creating a sword. The instructors were all friendly, helpful, and hands-on. Overall experience was fantastic, can't fault anything and we came away with something completely unique.

The Perfect Blacksmithing experience! We went as a stag party of 4 and booked the sword-making experience and it was incredible! The team helps make your ideal sword, from real historical swords to swords from tv shows and films! A big shout out to Bob, Joe, Sam, and Theo, the guys were welcoming incredibly friendly, and funny and they even made the beginning safety announcements entertaining! They demonstrated the processes clearly and guided us through the experience, and at the end of the day, you really felt like one of the team. I couldn't fault a single thing about the whole business. Thank you so much for an amazing day and I can't wait to do it again!

Had an amazing experience forging a dagger, with my wife. Really friendly people who are willing to give you all the help and instruction you need. Couldn't recommend this enough. Big thanks to Ben for all the help he gave us and for the chat he had afterward about the history of knives/daggers/swords and even their legality of them! We managed to forge our own axe head, shape and sharpen it and fit it to a handle under expert guidance. We really enjoyed the day and now have a functional and unique tool with a nice story attached to it to use for years to come. Thanks very much, Oldfield Forge!
